Fa La La in Love with Your Christmas Cards

Fa La La in Love with Your Christmas Cards

We love printing Christmas Cards at Printology! During the months of November and December we get the opportunity to print hundreds of Christmas Card orders! Below are some tips we have learned in the process:

1. Check Your Design Size

If you are using a template online, it is important to make sure the design size is size you are wanting. Christmas cards are normally sized at 5x7 or 4x6 inches. If you plan on using Canva, we have created a guide to help you with getting the sizing just right with your Christmas Cards. You can check it out here!

2. Plan Ahead

Christmas cards usually take 1-5 business days to send in the mail. We suggest planning on sending your Christmas cards on or before December 17th to help your festive cards arrive before Christmas. If you place an online order for Christmas cards it normally takes 2 business days for us to complete your order. Because we have a high influx of orders around the Holidays, it is a great idea to plan ahead and get your Christmas Card orders placed early in December.

3. Print Your Christmas Cards on Quality Cardstock

We have several paper options to choose from. Let's introduce you to some of the paper choices we love!

- 100lb Digital Matte is our most popular paper option! It is bright white and has a nice matte sheen. It prints pictures very well and is cheaper than our other quality cardstock options.

- 120lb Coverstock is thicker than our 100lb Digital Cardstock. It does not print pictures quite as crisply, but its thickness adds substance and character!

- Linen Cardstock is classic option if you are hoping to add texture to your Christmas Card. We have three different options: white, cream, and shimmery pearl!

- Glossy Cardstock is a great option if you are looking for a sleek paper that adds a little bit of glam!

4. Consider Printing Address on Your Christmas Card Envelopes!

We just launched an envelope page on our website. Check it out for a step by step guide on how to prepare for printing addresses on envelopes. We even have 10 different template designs to choose to make the process quicker and easier! You also can purchase blank envelopes from Printology through our Envelope Order Form.
